Our Team.

Seconds Save Life is supported by a multidisciplinary team of veterans, first responders, public safety leaders, tactical medical professionals, strategic consultants, and dedicated volunteers. Collectively, our team brings experience in military special operations, SWAT and tactical medicine, EMS, emergency communications and technology, operational planning, marketing, grant development, and community partnerships. This breadth of expertise allows SSL to develop practical programs grounded in operational experience and supported by strong organizational leadership.

DR. NATE "ENDLESS" ENNS

FOUNDING BOARD MEMBER & DIRECTOR OF TRAINING

Nathanael “Endless” Enns, Ph.D., D.M.O., NREMT, is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, entrepreneur, emergency management consultant, and tactical medical instructor. He is the founder of 5417 Readiness Group and the founder and Director of Training for Seconds Save Life, as well as the developer of the Direct Threat Casualty Care (DTCC) curriculum.

Drawing on experience in military operations and logistics, healthcare, emergency preparedness, and protective operations, Nate combines an operational mindset with practical, hands-on instruction. He is a Nationally Registered EMT, NAEMT Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Provider, and American College of Surgeons Stop the Bleed® Instructor. His mission is to make practical lifesaving training accessible to the communities that need it most.

KEN "SILVER FOX" WALKER

FOUNDING BOARD MEMBER & DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Ken W. Walker is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, project manager, and DTCC Provider with a strong background in leadership, operations, and emergency preparedness. He serves as a Board Member and Director of Special Projects for Seconds Save Life, supporting strategic meetings, future training initiatives, site visits, and donor and sponsor development.

Ken is also a business owner providing consulting in brand development and awareness strategy, supported by specialty-product development and field media services, including aerial drone footage. As the head of safety team training for his local church, he brings additional experience in emergency-response planning, SOP development, and organizational preparedness.

Emily Enns

EMILY ENNS

BOARD MEMBER & DIRECTOR OF EVENT PLANNING

Emily Enns brings extensive experience in executive leadership, business operations, nonprofit governance, and community service. As Board Secretary for Seconds Save Life, she supports board governance, organizational coordination, and the administrative continuity necessary for the nonprofit’s continued growth.

Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a Paralegal certificate and currently works as a licensed Realtor serving Central Florida. Her leadership experience includes owning a multidisciplinary health clinic and co-founding Leilani’s Hope, a nonprofit that helped vulnerable children and families access therapy and medical services. She also served as Executive Assistant to the President of one of North America’s largest long-term care management companies, where she helped coordinate and close multimillion-dollar acquisitions. Her communication skills, organizational leadership, and broad cultural perspective make her an integral part of SSL’s executive team.

JIM ROOT

SENIOR EXECUTIVE VOLUNTEER & DIRECTOR OF INFRASTRUCTURE

James (Jim) A. Root II, CGCIO, is a public safety technology leader with more than 20 years of experience supporting mission-critical emergency-response systems. He has led major advancements in 911 dispatch, real-time analytics, and emergency communications through his work with Lake Emergency Medical Services and Lake-Sumter EMS, and currently serves as CIO of Two Way Technology System Corp.

As Senior Executive Volunteer & Infrastructure for Seconds Save Life, Jim applies that expertise to guide the organization’s technology, communications, systems planning, and operational infrastructure. His leadership helps SSL build reliable, scalable systems that support its training programs, partnerships, and continued growth.

TCCC, Firearms Instructor
Former 
Navy SEAL Teams HUMINT

Spongebob brings military experience from serving in operational and HUMINT roles with U.S. Navy SEAL teams. His background includes TCCC, Quick Reaction Force operations, executive protection, and firearms instruction. Through Seconds Save Life, he supports DTCC training and teaches firearms tactics and protective-response strategies for churches and schools.

GRANT MCNULTY

NREMT, TCCC, Instructor

Former US Navy Operator

Grant McNulty, NREMT, brings extensive experience operating in high-consequence environments, including six years as a U.S. Navy SWCC operator. He has completed more than 8,000 skydives and served as an instructor supporting both civilian and military airborne operations. Now an NREMT, Grant applies that same discipline, precision, and commitment to safety in service to his community through Seconds Save Life.

GLENN WHITT

Firefighter Asst Chief, SWAT Medic (retired)

Glenn Whitt, NREMT, is a retired firefighter, assistant chief, Field Training Officer, and SWAT medic with 43 years of experience in emergency response, operational leadership, and tactical medicine. His background brings a practical field perspective to managing traumatic injuries in high-risk environments. Through Seconds Save Life, Glenn supports medical education and hands-on instruction for Direct Threat Casualty Care and Stop the Bleed® courses.

DAVE ELLIS

Key Volunteer: Scenario Instructor & Role-Player

Dave Ellis is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served as a helicopter heavy machine gunner in high-risk operational environments. An experienced instructor, he currently teaches anti-carjacking response, low-light tactics, and situational awareness. At Seconds Save Life, Dave helps develop and stage realistic training scenarios, facilitates their execution, and serves as a scenario role-player.

ADAM NELSON

Key Volunteer: DTCC Provider & Scenario Instructor

Adam Nelson is a DTCC Provider and the Security Lead for a large church, overseeing safety and security operations across three campuses. He holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology and brings extensive experience in systems administration, physical-security technology, access control, and organizational leadership. At Seconds Save Life, Adam helps develop and facilitate training scenarios while serving as both a scenario instructor and role-player.

Key Volunteer: Social Media & Marketing

Ellie Armstrong is a Nashville-based Vanderbilt University graduate with three years of EMT-B experience in street outreach and Level I Trauma Center emergency departments. She also brings four years of nonprofit marketing experience and has developed first-aid materials for youth harm-reduction programs. As a Key Volunteer for Social Media, Ellie helps SSL expand its reach and place practical lifesaving knowledge into the hands of civilians.
